Dear Doctors,
ln honor of National Doctors’ Day on Monday, March 30th 2021 and in light of everything going on, it is important to take a moment to honor our physicians and celebrate the critical essential role they play in caring for our community. As I think about the tremendous impact our physicians have on people’s lives. On behalf of everyone in the Pacifica hospital of the Valley family, I would like to thank our gifted physicians for their sacrifice, hard work, and commitment to excellence.

I receive endless heartfelt thank you notes from patients who write about the compassionate care they have received from our physicians, and how their quality of life has changed. Every one of our doctors is an integral member of our healthcare community. However, often the services that doctors give go unrecognized.

Today, every day, we thank you and are grateful for putting your talents on the line to reassure our patients and to save lives. Our families, loved ones, and neighbors depend on you, as the medical expert, to heal us, make us feel better, and offer physical and mental comfort. Thank you for the sacrifices you make and for the high-caliber and compassionate care you provide our neighbors with. Thank you for your willingness to serve as hero’s when life is on the line. Your knowledge and dedication make all our lives better.

As Health Care providers, we continue to fight through this turbulent time period in medicine and with the hope of a brighter day. I would like to acknowledge the skills, intensive training, and dedication that allow you to face the complexities and challenges associated with healthcare. In particular, I have been awe-inspired over the past several weeks with everyone’s incomparable effort during the COVID-19 outbreak. I greatly admire and appreciate your exceptional willingness to serve on the front lines working tirelessly during a global sweeping pandemic.

Standing together with the rest of America and the World, we salute and say thank you to our doctors and to all the doctors who have devoted their lives to the study and practice of medicine. Thank you for all that you do to keep our patients healthy and community safe. We are ever grateful to have a medical staff that demonstrates excellence in providing patient care every day.  Medicine includes a human element, making a doctor one of the most demanding, important, and rewarding professions in the world.
