As President and Chief Executive Officer, Precious brings her experience and business acumen of elevating world-class medical care including the medical staff team to higher levels of personalized healthcare that guarantee a standalone standard of care for all residents in the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles County. Precious has served as Chief Executive Officer of Pacifica Hospital of the Valley since April 2018, overseeing one of California’s most specialized and well-respected public healthcare centers.
Over the years at Pacifica, Precious has led a transformation that reversed years of massive losses. Proving that specialized hospital systems don’t have to select between medical excellence and operational sustainability. At the same time, leading a successful campaign to improve key indicators of health care along with quality and patient satisfaction.
Precious is the turnkey of the hospital to work with state and federal agencies to obtain funding under the HQAF program. She also continues to develop a positive working environment which cultivates high employee morale and retention within a challenging environment.
Precious assumes her role with more than 25 years of health care leadership experience. Most recently, Precious served as the Chief Strategy Officer of Pacifica Hospital of the Valley where she implemented well-architected executive financial enhancements, specialized programs, a Patient Experience program in preparation for health care reform, and led Pacifica Hospital to an unparalleled sub-acute unit growth; increasing the referral radius from thirty to over four hundred fifty in a 2-year time period.
Precious has received the prestigious San Fernando Valley Business Journal awards “Business Executive and CEO of The Year” and “Women in Business of the Year”. Precious was a nominee recipient 5 consecutive years for “Women in Healthcare” by LA Business Journal. She is an active member of the California Hospital Association (Leadership Committee), California Association of Healthcare Facilities, American Healthcare Association, and National Center for Assisted Living.
