Pacifica Hospital Has A Temporary Restrictions And Guidance For Patient/Resident Visitors To Our Facility.
(Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis and for compassionate care reasons only)
As we continue to monitor and receive COVID-19 (Coronavirus disease) updates from the LA County Department of Public Health and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention the outbreak, the ongoing safety of patients, residents, staff and the community remains Pacifica’s primary focus.
The top priority of Pacifica Hospital in the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic is to protect our patients, residents, and staff who are caring for them. To protect patients, residents, and staff, Pacifica Hospital will not allow any visitors while there is a threat of COVID-19 transmission and until further notice.
In the interim as we try to reduce the spread of the virus, we are currently offering app-based technology that enables virtual visits with family and loved ones. Please ask a member of the staff for more details.
As The Covid-19 Status Continues To Rapidly Evolve, Visitor Restrictions Are Subject To Change
TENTS are now in place outside of our Emergency Department to allow us to provide COVID-19 pre-screening for patients and visitors before entering. The tent is being implemented following direct protocols from the Centers for Disease Control and the California Department of Public Health.
The tents are part of a strategy by our hospital to keep potential Coronavirus patients separated from the rest of our patients, residents and staff, to reduce the chance of spreading the disease.
