Behavioral Health Unit
Our health care professionals are among the most experienced in the behavioral health field, trained in emergency specialty procedures and crisis intervention. Committed to excellence, our staff provides the highest caliber of quality care by interacting with patients therapeutically and evaluating overall health and symptoms.
We treat acute psychiatric illnesses including, major depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Admissions to the Behavioral Health Unit can be on voluntary or non-voluntary conditions. We welcome inquiries for those who are concerned about the welfare of family members or those already receiving or in need of treatment for any psychological disorder.
Patient services include assessment of emotional and psychological issues, initial health screening, case management, medication management, treatment planning, community integration planning, and referrals. Outside referrals from health care providers and insurance plans are welcomed.
